About the Waiuku Golf and Squash Club

History

The Waiuku Golf Club was established in 1921, and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the greater Auckland region and is only 40 minutes from Auckland City.

At the time it is doubtful that the Clubs founding members could have possibly envisaged Waiuku as we know it today, or the significant benefit the club contributes to the social fabric of what has become one of New Zealands friendliest communities.

We are known as 'the friendly club' with social events and golf activities that are the envy of many other clubs.

The course has a slope rating of 116.

A bad shot might penalise you with a visit to the estuary or some of the more interesting terrain, but you will soon be back on gently undulating fairways.

You will quickly develop your skill level and become an accurate golfer.

If you possess a reasonable level of fitness you will find it 'just a stroll in the park!'

Excellent Winter Drainage at Waiuku Golf Course.

This is an easy walking course in park-like surroundings.

Good drainage means we are hardly closed in the rainy winter months.

We have regular haggle events on Tuesday, Wednesday (Ladies), Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

All visitors will be made to feel very welcome.
